Volunteer and Internships

Get Involved with Madera County Arts Council!

Madera County Arts Council offers exciting volunteer and internship opportunities for Madera County residents aged 20 and older who are passionate about the arts and community engagement. These opportunities provide valuable hands-on experience while supporting the mission of MCAC.

Volunteers and interns can take on a variety of roles tailored to the organization’s needs, including but not limited to:

🎭 Event Coordination – Assist in planning and executing art exhibitions, workshops, and community events.

📂 Administrative Support – Help with behind-the-scenes operations to keep our programs running smoothly.

📣 Marketing & Promotion – Contribute to social media, newsletters, and outreach efforts to spread the word about MCAC.

🎨 Artistic Contributions – Get involved in exhibition setup, curation, and hands-on creative projects.

📚 Educational Program Assistance – Support our youth and community arts programs by working with students and educators.

🤝 Community Engagement – Help build relationships with local artists, organizations, and supporters.

🔍 Research & Special Projects – Assist with arts advocacy, funding research, and other initiatives.

The specific duties and expectations for each role will be communicated by MCAC to volunteers based on their interests, skills, and the organization’s needs. Whether you’re looking to gain experience, give back to the arts community, or simply be part of something creative and inspiring, we’d love to have you join us!
