“PETS!” Exhibit

June 3rd from 10-2pm the Circle Gallery kicks off their first ever partnership with two Valley nonprofit organizations, Parlier’s Cat House on the Kings and Madera’s own Animal Shelter.

“PETS! Furry, Feathered or finned” is an open letter of love to the creatures that have kept us company, fascinated us, loved us and served us since the beginning of time, animals!

Artists from Madera and the surrounding counties have entered their work as the Arts Council embarks on what, hopefully, turns into an annual summer event.

HAVE YOUR PHOTO TAKE OF OR WITH YOUR PET! For a minimum donation of $10 (which goes directly to the Madera County Animal Shelter) you can have a portrait taken of or with your pet. Each pet is an additional $5 if included in the same sitting.

If you’ve been looking for an addition to your family, you’re in luck because you will have the opportunity to adopt one of the animals currently residing at the animal shelter. Standard adoption procedure applies, click HERE for more information.

“PAINT YOUR PET” PAINT CLASS! $45 general public/$40 per member

Let your creativity loose! Simply send in a photo of your pet and we’ll prepare your canvas for your in advance. Then when you arrive for the class (10-12pm) you will have your very own canvas and supplies including a paint palette custom to the colors of your pet. Our instructor will then walk you through the process of painting your OWN PET! Click below to register! Deadline to submit your pets pictures is Thursday June 1st at 5pm.
