Arts Education Programs

The Madera Arts Council’s Arts Education Programs serve the elementary students in Madera County by working with the Madera Unified School District and the County Office of Education.  With their support, the Madera County Arts Council brings the Arts to elementary students through these programs; Presenting Arts to Children in Elementary Schools (PACES), Club YES and alternative arts education programs.

Qualified professional artists of all disciplines present hands-on and interactive workshops as well as curriculum related workshops that address Visual and Performing Arts Standards adopted by the State of California.

The Paces 2007-08 Resource Guide and website lists all available PACES artists and performers available to Madera County Elementary Schools.

The Madera Unified School District, the County Office of Education, grants, and private donations fund the Madera Arts Council’s Arts Education Programs.
