Celebrate Agriculture with the Arts 2017

Artists,

2017 proudly marks the 24th consecutive year of Madera County Arts Council’s
Celebrate Agriculture with the Arts Competition and Exhibition.

Once again we invite California artists – new and returning – to create and submit agriculturally themed artwork to the competition in the categories:
California Crops; Farm Machinery & Structures; Our Farm & Ranch Friends; Celebrate Agriculture… the Human Factor; and Water… Agriculture’s Lifeblood. Art Media including paint, drawing, sculpture, fiber art, photography and jewelry are accepted.

Artists of all experience levels are welcome. The juried selections, a maximum of 80, are included in the final exhibition and eligibility for cash awards.

Every year imaginations are stretched, and talents shine. The result is fresh and interpretive artwork – capturing the texture, flavor, color and history of agriculture of California!

Many artists have commented that this exhibit is their favorite because of the subject matter and the potential amount of prize money they can win.

So… keep your imagination flowing, create or finish your special piece of work and JOIN US!

Online entry officially opens on May 19th with entry deadline of August 1st.
